New Guide for Implementing Educational Escape Rooms with Escapp
Within the scope of the IGLUE project, we previously developed the IGLUE Best Practices: a set of guidelines and recommendations for helping teachers of any educational level and knowledge area to design, build, execute, and evaluate educational escape rooms considering different formats (physical, virtual, and hybrid) and delivery modes (face-to-face and remote). These best practices were published in the guide titled “Best Practices for Creating and Conducting Educational Escape Rooms: A Comprehensive Guide for Teachers“, which is freely available for download from the Project Results page on this website.
Within the IGLUE project, we also developed Escapp, a virtual platform designed for creating, conducting, and sharing educational escape rooms. The Project Results page provides access to Escapp and its source code, as well as to the Escapp user manual, which explains how to use the platform’s main features.
Today, we are pleased to announce the publication of a new guide developed within the IGLUE project titled “Applying the IGLUE Best Practices with Escapp“, which provides considerations, instructions, and recommendations for teachers on how to apply the IGLUE Best Practices when using Escapp. This new guide does not replace the IGLUE Best Practices guide, but it extends it by providing additional information and recommendations on how to apply these practices when Escapp is used. It is intended for teachers at any educational level and in any knowledge area who are interested in creating and conducting educational escape rooms using Escapp.
