IGLUE Project at BISEC`2024

The IGLUE (Implementation of Game-based Learning Using Escape rooms) Project was presented at the 15th International BISEC`2024 Conference by Prof. Dr. Miljan Milosevic, showcasing this newly approved ERASMUS+ initiative. The conference, organized by the Belgrade Metropolitan University and held in Niš from November 28th to 29th, focused on the theme “Security in Predictive Maintenance Systems.” The IGLUE project aims to inspire universities across Europe to create and implement educational escape rooms, enhancing teaching practices and student engagement.

As part of the project, an innovative virtual platform will be developed to enable educators to design, conduct, and share their educational escape rooms. Special emphasis will be placed on teacher training, providing them with the necessary tools and methodologies to create effective learning activities. The project will establish a network of educational escape rooms, open to new institutions, forming a European network of digital educational resources. A series of educational escape rooms will be created and evaluated, focusing not only on teaching specific topics but also on developing students’ soft skills. Through this initiative, universities will be empowered to transition effectively to modern digital teaching methods and advance educational processes.
